Why you would use this feature

If you would like to grant your affiliates with a Shopify voucher code that they can give out to people as a substitute for giving them their affiliate link, this attribute is what you would use. When this attribute is implemented, if a customer uses an affiliates voucher code, they will get a reduction for their purchase and the affiliate will get qualified for their commission, for referring the sale.

Set Up.

To Get started, log in to your admin control panel and then go to Referral Programs.

Step 2. click Promotional Settings and the button that says "Promo Code Tracking"

3.  Click the "Add Promo Code Tracking" button:

Step 4. Type in the name of the coupon that you created in your Shopify shopping cart, select the corresponding user, and then select the referral program

NOTE: To generate a Voucher/ coupon code in Shopify, simply login to your admin area and click on "Discounts" on your left navigation and then click the "Add discount code" button.

5. Now you have added the voucher code, you will need to modernize the sales tracking code that you added to the Supplementary Content and Scripts section of Shopify. You will need to add this code below to the segment of your sales tracking code that is shown below:/PromoCode:{{order.discounts[0].code}}

After you finish up with the above steps, your affiliates would able to give out the code you assign for them and will give the customer a reduction and calculate a commission for the referring affiliate.
